About Thrive Specialty Pharmacy

Thrive Specialty Pharmacy was founded on May 18, 2023 by two co-workers who worked together at a pharmacy in Miami, FL. One served as the Operations Manager and the other was part of business development. They quickly formed a friendship and had very similar ideas about pharmacy operations, more specifically, patient care and felt they could fill a void where patient care and communication has fallen short in several areas within the pharmacy industry. It was at that time they decided to open up their own pharmacy. One of our founders has been in specialty and retail pharmacy operations & patient services for a decade and understands what it takes to provide the level of detail oriented care that patients need and deserve. In addition to that he is also a Life-Long Chronic Kidney Disease patient for almost 50 years. He has experienced the grueling regiment of dialysis and has since received a life saving kidney transplant. Our second founder is an exceptional pharmacist with over 22 years of experience in retail and specialty pharmacy operations & patient services but, more specifically in upper management overseeing a major pharmacy chain. He brings expert clinical knowledge, passion and dedication to patient care. Collectively they have over 30 years of pharmacy experience and counting in the retail and specialty pharmacy industry with an emphasis on Disease State Management and bridging the gap where sometimes patient care falls short in a traditional pharmacy setting.
