What We Do Thrive creates visuals to help social innovators build the world communities deserve. Our Story We began by photographing a movement. We captured the impacts of climate change, the stagnant international conferences and the thousands of people, more and more each day, that were dedicating their lives to the fight for climate justice. In order to win we knew we had to show that we already were winning and for over five years our images have been helping the movement recognize itself and explode. Despite this growth, the dominant narrative is still that solutions to the climate crisis are a product of the future. Yet, our first hand experience has told us differently. Why aren’t these stories of success being shared? Why aren’t the social innovators developing solutions making more noise? It began to click, quality visuals are essential to enable the clean tech and clean energy sectors to grow. Years embedded within the movement have left us armed with the knowledge, network and skills to capture the stories that matter. It is time to use those skills to help social innovators succeed and help reframe the dominant narrative of a clean, just, thriving future. Our Vision A thriving world is one where communities are empowered by the environment around them — abundant affordable clean energy, nourishing local products, equity and social justice. We currently live in a world overrun with crisis; environmental, social, and economic. And yet, an incredible social innovation movement is helping develop solutions. We believe that visual storytelling is the best tools to help social innovators thrive and build the world communities deserve.
