About Tibbits Opera Foundation and Arts Council
Tibbits Opera House is one of the oldest operating theatres in Michigan. Talented individuals grace the theatre stage 48 weeks out of the year in plays, musical acts, summer professional theatre, entertainment series, and community events. Summer is a special time at Tibbits with our Professional Summer Theatre which USA Today called one of "10 Great Places to See the Lights Way Off Broadway" (7/15/05) and Tibbits Popcorn Theatre. It is the community stage for Branch County, Michigan, and is an important regional venue for experiencing live, cultural and theatrical productions within an hour radius of Coldwater, Michigan. For our community's children, Tibbits offers their primary exposure to live theatre and other performing arts.
