About TICATOVE

We are a community-based, registered 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that has been working on conservation of native sea turtles and other natural resources for over 15 years. We assist the Wildlife Refuge on many projects that improve visitor experiences and expand recreational opportunities for visitors & residents. A central part of our mission is to engage younger residents in conservation projects to build ecotourism skills, useful for their future, for the future of the island, and for the future of the Vieques National Wildlife Refuge. The endangered sea turtles that nest on Vieques are our number one concern. We also help on wildlife research, build trails, maintain green spaces, and beach clean-ups.
