About Ticonderoga Revitalization Alliance
The Ticonderoga Revitalization Alliance is a not-for-profit, local development corporation whose mission it is to restore economic prosperity in the Ticonderoga region by serving as a clearinghouse for innovative ideas and resources, and a catalyst for public-private partnerships and investment opportunities. The Ti-Alliance aims to create a new prosperity in Ticonderoga by leveraging its power of place to reverse the current downward spiral facing our area. The Ti-Alliance will concentrate on four areas which will work as a cohesive structure for improvement and innovation: (1) Become a center for Arts, Entertainment, and Tourism by utilizing the resources that currently exist. (2) Create partnerships which involve a higher level of interaction between the Town, Fort Ticonderoga, and North Country Community College to name a few. (3) Encourage business growth which includes attracting new business development, supporting existing businesses, and rehabilitating/creating new uses for existing historic buildings. (4) Improve quality of life in Ticonderoga. Any of these might happen alone but this vision of a new prosperity can only be achieved with partners continuing to build on each directive while promoting all parts to interact in a unified way. Only then will Ticonderoga achieve true and long lasting prosperity!
