About TiE Dubai
TiE Dubai was inaugurated in January 2003 by HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman, TECOM Free Zone Authority. The Chapter enjoys the support of Dubai Internet City. The Dubai chapter has over 5000 members presently, including 70+ Charter Members who drive the organization. TiE Dubai members are a mix of entrepreneurs and senior executives of different nationalities, from varied vocations (not just the IT sector). With the vision to help catalyze entrepreneurship in the region, the organization holds monthly networking events for its members exposing them to high profile speakers, ‘local’ opportunities for entrepreneurship, and funding avenues. TiE also provides mentoring services to members and helps them crystallize their business plans.
