About Tier 1 Utility Design
Tier 1 Utility Design, Inc. (Tier 1) is a Certified Women's Business Enterprise (WBENC), experienced in providing construction support services, engineering, design, and drafting services associated with the Power industry. Tier 1 is also a certified Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB). Currently, Tier 1 has more than 95 engineers, project managers, designers, drafters, and construction support personnel located in our East coast and Midwest office locations. Tier 1's regional offices are strategically placed to support our clients. Tier 1’s team of professionals are highly experienced in engineering, design and construction management for Transmission and Distribution projects. Our experience includes Substations, Gas Insulated Substations, Switchyards, Overhead and Underground Transmission and Distribution, Gas Distribution, Renewables, Construction Management, and EPC projects. Tier 1 strives to bring value added engineering and services to all that we do. These savings can be realized in manpower resources, utilization of updated technologies, and actual unit pricing of material costs. Tier 1 has a detailed document-controlled Quality Assurance program to ensure that the highest quality of service is offered to our clients. Our QA program clearly defines our processes for assuring Tier 1's delivered products are of the highest quality, conform to industry standards and meet client standard requirements.
