About Tier One Performance
Tier One Performance is dedicated to giving the best advantage, experience, and training for all of its athletes for their specific sport. Specializing particularly in baseball, our Coaches have years of experiencing coaching athletes from elementary skill level all the way to the collegiate level. Tier One Performance Coaches travel all over the Houston area to athletes with the drive and tenacity to listen and practice their sport craft consistently. By giving them proper instruction, tools, and knowledge, T.O.P. athletes are on a faster and more direct track at improving in all aspects of their game. What separates T.O.P. from the rest of the competition is that we focus on development both on and off the field. With our T.O.P. programs, we teach and prepare the human body for excellence. Basketball and Track training programs will soon be involved. Tier One Performance was founded by Jordan Powell and Mitch Matulia in Houston, Texas. Both were All-State high school baseball players and scholarship athletes for Division 1 colleges. They have both had pro style experiences and have multiple connections to the MLB, Independent League, and Minor League system. After dedicating years of their life to the sport they both decided it was time to give back to communities and to serious students of the game who want the knowledge and the assistance they have to offer.
