Tim Groom Architects is a Manchester based practice with a proven track record of delivering projects across a range of sectors. We design buildings which are honest and refined using high quality, well detailed materials. Our belief is that honest and simple forms with fine detailing stand the test of time. Our projects range from one off private houses to larger residential urban regeneration schemes, student accommodation, hotel, restaurant and office projects as well as retail and leisure developments. Our aim is to produce refined and honest buildings based on modernist principles which stand the test of time. The success of our projects is based on developing a strong concept at the outset then maintaining loyalty to this concept throughout the design and construction process to ensure that the integrity of original scheme is realised. We understand what it takes to make a viable scheme and our aim is to ensure that every project is capable of moving past the feasibility stage and on to construction. We enjoy the intricacy and detail of the construction process and the whole team takes immense pride in seeing our schemes realised as completed structures being used by those for whom they were designed. We recognise the huge responsibility we have as architects to produce designs which positively influence the lives of not only those who use our buildings, but also the communities which surround them and these considerations form an inherent part of our design process.
