Established in 1992, Timbermat has successfully grown into one of the UK's largest independent suppliers of temporary roadways and ground protection solutions. Our extensive expertise and knowledge within this industry has helped us to achieve a national customer base that includes the majority of the country's top civil engineering and construction companies. Timbermat’s ground protection mats have been tested and approved by both the Utilities and Rail industries through the UVDB and Link Up Supply chain network. Our extensive stock allows us to provide every customer with the right product for any requirement, and with one of the UK’s largest stock holdings, Timbermat can usually have mats on site the same day, or within twenty four hours of the enquiry. Made from tough tropical hardwoods, our ground protection mats are capable of carrying the heaviest plant safely across treacherous ground conditions - but can also be utilised to protect hard standing surfaces such as roads and paved areas. We can also provide a ground protection mat installation service, along with a complete design package, risk assessment and method statements. All works are carried out to comply with current health and safety regulations and any site rules provided by the customer. We can respond to urgent requirements, and can usually have ground protection mats on site the same day, or within 24 hours of an enquiry.
