About Timion NPC

Timion - Support for children with Cerebral Palsy in the townships of South Africa In South Africa there are many children with disabilities who do not have access to regular therapy or assistive equipment. Our goal is to provide therapy for as many children as possible and to make our disability equipment available to them. At our carpentry workshop in Jeffreys Bay, we design and produce affordable and durable disability equipment. Our therapists and family carers visit disabled children and their families to support and enable them. During such on-site visits our equipment is issued, followed-up and caregivers are taught about the disability of their child and how to use simple therapy and handling to support their child. We also offer regular camps to the families, where the caregivers meet each other and find encouragement. Our staff works with their children and offers stimulating activities and fun. Timion is a Non Profit organisation registered in South Africa and Switzerland and donations are tax deductable.
