About TiSurf Technology

TiSurf® is a ceramic/metal hybrid material with a surface of titanium nitride and a core of titanium. The titanium surface is chemically converted to titanium nitride by means of a depth hardening nitration process that is patent-pending. TiSurf® has been successfully applied in several prestigious and demanding applications in the aerospace, offshore and racing industries. To date, TiSurf® has been involved in seven different NASA/ESA missions including Roseta and Cassini, piston rods for platforms in the North Sea, racing components in F1, LeMans and MX, and medical applications such as heart valves and catheters for hemodialysis.
