Titan Aero Group, formerly known as Groupe Pourprix, has undergone a significant transformation thanks to its acquisition by Klubb Group, a French industrial company and European leader in the aerial work platform market, and Yano Special Purpose Vehicle, a Japanese industrial group. The company has built its identity by developing its expertise in the transformation of noble metals. The company began by developing machinery for the agri-food industry, before turning in the 1970s to subcontracting for industrial solutions in the energy sector and, in the early 1990s, to the manufacture of custom aluminium and stainless steel tanks for storing and transporting hydrocarbons. In recent years, the group has refocused its activities on the aeronautical industry, specialising in aircraft and helicopter refuelling equipment for both civil and military applications.
