About Title Guaranty

Our underwriters are Chicago Title Insurance Company, Ticor Title Insurance Company, Security Union Title Insurance Company, Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, First American Title Insurance Company and The Talon Group (a division of First American Title Insurance company); we have agency agreements with all of these companies. We own and maintain a Title Plant-Plat Book System beginning in 1957 and computerized/automated Title Plant effective 1986. The Title Plant data includes documents recorded at the Bureau of Conveyances, as well as, Circuit, Federal and Bankruptcy court proceedings which are indexed to the property description. All recorded documents and grantor/grantee indices from mid-1800's to current are in-house resources. All documents recorded at the State Recorder's Office from 1986 to present and current maps from the Tax Assessor's Office are available in our Image System. In addition to the above, the Title Guaranty Family of Companies includes exchange intermediaries, which handle transactions pursuant to IRC 1031; a leasehold disclosure company, which provides services to assist clients in complying with the State's Leasehold Disclosure Law; and a state of the art image based document retrieval company, Docutrieve, which provides immediate access to copies of any documents recorded in the Bureau of Conveyances, as well as 7,000 current tax maps. With over 300 employees working in our family of companies, we are large enough to service any job yet small enough to be friendly and flexible to meet our client's needs. Our size allows us to provide excellent customer service that is personalized service to be "fast, friendly, and flexible."
