TKA+D was established in 2008 by Craig Taylor Architect AIBC and Donna Kurtz BID and has grown into a highly respected firm with over 50 talented and committed Architects, Interior Designers, Technologists and other design professionals. Our firm is led by 5 Principals, 1 Associate Principal and 6 Associates. While our collective body of knowledge and experience spans over 40 years, we believe that every project brings us new insights, and with that, new knowledge and opportunities to distil what we have learned into projects that fulfil our client’s aspirations. We enjoy and promote a collaborative approach to the practice of architecture and interior design and value the contribution of all team members. We believe in assembling the right people for each project and do not let egos get in the way of the design process. We have collaborated with other architects and design professionals on many projects around the world and have developed rewarding and long-lasting relationships. TKA+D brings together specialist skills in several areas of practice, including urban design and master planning, community and recreational, civic and public, institutional, education, industrial, office, and residential.
