Terry Martin Associates, A.I.A. (TMA), founded in 1992, is a full service architectural firm located in downtown Los Gatos, California. We are dedicated to providing a quality experience to each client through excellent communication, inclusive design process, and sustainable improvements to the built environment. TMA relies on over twenty years of expertise in commercial and residential architecture and construction to focus on high quality custom homes, residential additions and renovations, historical restoration, and commercial tenant improvements. At TMA we pride ourselves on working together with our clients, consultants, and contractors. Our collaborative process has enabled us to add value to all projects from small residential remodels to large estates. Terry Martin and his staff have provided comprehensive services from pre-design programming and feasibility studies to custom details and construction administration. TMA excels at coordinating all parties during the planning and entitlement review and building permit process. TMA has developed a large group of talented consultants such as engineers, landscape architects, and other specialists to guarantee that each client will have the best design team suited for their project. Although each project is unique and our style of work is tailored to the personality of each client and the requirements of each project, the design process commonly follows a typical pattern. Our first and most important step is an initial project launch meeting to bring the team together to hear the client's needs and desires and to create a shared understanding of project goals and priorities. TMA provides sketches of early design ideas and potential solutions to project challenges. All aspects of a project are managed to meet constraints, schedule, and budget.
