Toronto Metropolitan University Students for Mental Awareness, Support and Health (SMASH) Mission Statement: 1. To break down stigmas and raise awareness about mental health and wellness by educating and sharing resources in the student community. 2. To foster a welcoming, non-judgmental, and inclusive community by providing and facilitating student peer-to-peer support. 3. To advocate for a more supportive learning environment at Toronto Metropolitan University, including improved accessibility of resources. Toronto Metropolitan University SMASH is a diverse team of students from across all disciplines coming together to support mental health and wellness. We consist of several groups, including administration, marketing, event planning, education and outreach, and finance and corporate relations.
