Coming from a gourmet family, founder Abraham Sung grew up in the capital-like world food paradise of Hong Kong where national and international food cultures integrate and thrive. Abraham cultivated an enthusiasm for cooking and banqueting at a young age influenced by local southern Chinese food and his maternal Northern roots. As work put on pause as a classical musician, Abraham founded ^5 Food, in response to the demand for authentic and nostalgic Hong Kong flavours. He works in the hope of offering a new sketch in the UK's food scene. ^5 Food begins as an online store selling frozen ready-meal and artisanal snacks. With his experience in catering and hospitality, he soon extended ^5 Food to bespoke catering and mixology service for private events. Our services include party planning, bespoke food and beverage menu making, venue and facilities hiring, entertainment talent hiring and staffing. We work with florists, production companies and venues to provide a professional banqueting experience for your wedding, birthday, celebration and corporate conference events, with a touch of our oriental spirit and abundance of exceptional hospitality.
