About TOLAcademy
TOLA is an organizing and leadership academy. Our mission is to train to the next generation of grassroots organizers and leaders. TOLA is a four-month intensive program, where fellows are exposed to some of the most effective community, business, educational and political leaders in California. The training is a combination of classroom and experiential training. TOLA Fellows are assigned to work on political campaigns and/ or community education efforts. While on these projects fellows will learn the fundamentals of organizing, including how to recruit, train, inspire, and develop community leaders to improve their neighborhoods. The TOLA program is a practical, hands-on learning experience.
