About Toledo Community Oncology Program
The Toledo Community Oncology Program (TCOP), a non-profit organization founded in 1986, is one of the original Community Clinical Oncology Programs (CCOP) funded by the National Cancer Institute. TCOP brings compassionate and cutting-edge cancer care to communities in 33 counties across northwest and west central Ohio, southeast Michigan and Virginia. Eight affiliate institutions at 15 sites provide standard of care cancer treatment, prevention and control close to home. TCOP administers clinical trials from these research groups: the North Central Cancer Treatment Group (NCCTG), the Alliance For Clinical Trials in Oncology, the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG), the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG), the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast & Bowel Project (NSABP) and Cancer Trials Support Unit (CTSU).
