About Toledo GROWs
Toledo GROWs (Gardens Revitalize Our World) educates our community about the value of local nutritious food. Our active urban farm and support for community gardens promote healthy eating and create a region alive with gardens. This non-profit organization provides education and support for 105 community gardens in the greater Toledo, Ohio area. A two and one half acre urban farm in the core of the city serves as home to the organization, as well as an educational facility where all come to learn about growing and eating nutrient dense food. The educational facility includes chickens, honeybees, raingardens, native plants, and a variety garden beds where vegetables and fruits are grown using sustainable methods.
