Based in Middleton Manchester in close proximity to the M60 and M62 allowing good access to the motorway networks Tomax Building Services Ltd has been providing a quality and contemporary construction service for the last 25 years. The business started life in 1988 when Steve Tomlinson founded his own electrical engineering company after many years on a self-employed basis. Ten years later he acquired a joinery and construction company with larger and more diverse projects being sought. Over 25 years has since passed and Tomax now has a portfolio of clients both in public and private sectors ranging from private Architectural practices, local authorities and NHS trusts carrying out numerous projects nationally within the Education, Health, Retail and Private sectors. Due to our varied and skilled workforce we undertake all types of construction work from simple joinery and electrical repairs of a hundred pounds to full bespoke projects upwards of a million pounds, all undertaken to the client’s specification. We also have a large joiner’s workshop allowing us to make bespoke office furniture, WC cubicles, Vanity units, Kitchen units, Door frames and Door alteration specific to our client’s needs. This not only reduces the cost of the items but also allows us to control the lead times and quality on these items, which can be problematic when dealing with a third party manufacturer. All our operatives and management team are CRB checked. We have accreditations with Construction Line, CHAS and are Safe Contractor approved. NICEIC, Gas safe affiliated and NHS North West approved Contractor. We are also insured up to £10,000,000 in both public and Employees indemnities.
