Although historically trading for nearly 50 years, Topspeed Automotive in its current guise was founded in 2007 by two brothers, who having been key members of the Motor Sport Industry for over 30 years (and still active today), wanted to combine their love and passion for all things automotive and their knowledge of warehousing and corporate finance into an exciting business venture. Initially focused on the on-premise retailing of automotive parts, both standard and performance/racing, this grew rapidly with the introduction of our ecommerce site and later, our acquisition of the UK Automotive distributor, CM Frost. Now based in central England, at our 15,000 square feet distribution centre, with offices in Surrey, England and Dallas, Texas and employing over 15 people, we have seen a ten-fold increase in sales revenue over the last 7 years: a clear reflection of the winning strategy of combining exceptional automotive application experience with a strong supporting technical infrastructure. Employing skilled Automotive Professionals to provide support to those customers unsure of their exact requirements, to solid availability, integration of real-time part information and fast shipping to those clients that know exactly what they want, right now. Carrying over $3m worth of product at any given time, across 350,000 product lines and with key partnerships with the main distributors and manufacturers in the US, including Atech Motorsports, AutoPlus, and Keystone Automotive, Edelbrock, Holley and Federal-Mogul mean we have access to even the most obscure of automotive parts. Recent developments have seen Topspeed Automotive branch out into the supply of Oil and Lubricants with the acquisition of sole rights to the “No Smoke Oil” brand of products and our geographical expansion across Europe with investment in the required systems and regulatory accreditations enabling us to sell into Germany and France, and thereby, the whole of the European Union.
