About TOPUCU
TOPUCU stands for The Only Person U Cheat is U. It is a 7-week personal development program that has changed the lives of thousands. Most of those individuals have been in prisons and jails, as well as uninformed and underserved youth. Additionally, we have been able to serve those working through addiction and recovery. TOPUCU is a social-emotional learning program that addresses all five areas of CASEL’s Competencies. The system helps in understanding the first component of transformation. Most people try and transform through emotions and actions. But, until they can learn to control their thinking, it will be very difficult to make good daily decisions and choices, much less practice self-discipline. TOPUCU is a catalyst that teaches them to “do what they don’t want to do, in order to become who they want to become”. TOPUCU has been validated through a white paper produced by Right Time Rehabilitation in conjunction with Professor Frank Boster at Michigan State University. This study showed a 63.4% reduction in destructive thinking, a 70% increase in believing a transformation can occur, and a 91.2% approval of the TOPUCU System in a blind benchmark by the participants. There was also a 10-month study done by Dr. Robert Hanser, an internationally published author, and professor at the University of Louisiana. Both of these studies can be found on our website. Additionally, TOPUCU addresses the following Criminogenic Risk Factors: Antisocial Cognition, Antisocial Associates, Family and Marital Relations, Employment, and Leisure & Recreational Activities. We currently offer TOPUCU as a part of the re-entry process in departments of rehabilitation and correction in 6 states, as well as serve numerous social programs nationwide.
