About Torbay Furniture Project
Torbay Furniture Project is a small organisation with big ambitions. It is our aim to eradicate furniture poverty in Torbay. We collect items of good quality, reusable furniture free of charge at a time convenient to the donors. Our team will remove the items from inside the home so those people donating only have to open the door! We run a furniture store which sells quality second hand furniture at affordable prices. Everybody deserves to have access to quality furniture and that's why we have no eligibility criteria unlike similar local organisations. We work with several local organisations to provide items of furniture free of charge to those most in need. We also have a clothes bank within our shop which has a variety of clothes - mainly children's clothes currently. All items of clothing and accessories are 50p each, but are free of charge to those referred to us.
