About Torcargo
Torcargo has enjoyed successful growth and business development since 2007. We have been building our liner services on top of successful cooperation and partnership with leading aluminium companies in Iceland and Norway, and have continued to grow stronger following the merger of Cargow and Thorship in 2021.We are grateful for the trust we have enjoyed during that period. We are continuing to develop and expanding our service and business. We are an industrial carrier at the core, on top of that we have built our liner service operations in containers and breakbulk. We have grown our logistics business considerably with offices in Rotterdam, Hafnarfjordur and Thorlakshofn in Iceland, Torshavn in the Faroe Islands and Trondheim in Norway. We have outgrown our current transport system and will add a new vessel and new shipping route to our sailing system this summer. We are further expanding our capabilities in air, sea and road transport, as well as reefer solutions. Directly and through our Icelandic subsidiary Odin Cargo, we are offering our own network of direct flights between Iceland and Europe as well as being proud GSA partner of both Play airlines and Delta to and from Iceland. We are proud to be promoted to a strategic partner of DSV, following our long-standing relationship, were we have been offering total transport and door-to-door solutions connecting Icelandic business to the world. We are pleased to introduce a new name and new logo for our business. Torcargo has clear reference to previous names, as well as our Nordic heritage. The thunder god Tor (Thor) remains in the name – as well as the thunder in the logo. Tor is the strongest god and protector of mankind. That is a good company to be in. Welcome to Torcargo.
