About Toronto Immune and Digestive Health Institute
TIDHI is a unique, integrative and holistic medical centre providing advanced expert care to individuals with: Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, inflammatory bowel disease, pelvic pouches, need for early colon cancer screening/detection and other digestive and immune disorders such as eosinophilic esophagitis. Health care services include: medical assessments with specialists, colonoscopy and gastroscopy, urgent assessment, access to IV treatments/fluids, and early access to therapies through clinical trials. We also offer integrated and individualized care with dietititans, naturopaths and mental health providers who have specific expertise in the treatment of digestive tract disorders for needs related to coping with chronic disease. The Institute provides all ambulatory care needs as requested or will work with patients’ current health care professionals to supplement care. We also provide a scientifically-based, personalized nutrition program for: optimization of digestive health for the general public and for those with special needs such as for other immune disorders (rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriasis and eosinophilic esophagitis) and irritable bowel syndrome. TIDHI is staffed by experienced gastroenterologists and health care professionals with specialized expertise in IBD, endoscopy, clinical trials and research.
