Tostan Canada is a Canadian registered charity that was created to rally Canadian support for the work of Tostan International, an African NGO. Tostan’s mission is to empower communities in West Africa to develop and achieve their vision for the future and inspire large-scale movements leading to #DignityForAll. #Tostan means "breakthrough" in the West African language of Wolof.
