With just a 20 minute journey to Brighton, Gatwick and Worthing its an ideal location for a relaxing stopover, corporate meeting, residential event or celebration. With 12 beautiful rooms, 3 private dining rooms, a 50 cover restaurant, and our 95 cover South Downs suite with private gardens all looking out on the South Downs, this independent venue thrives on promoting the best of Sussex, with local wines, fish, meat and ingredients. Our AA Rosette TERRA Restaurant sets the standard for food across the venue with all dishes seasonally inspired and sourced from local ingredients. Recognising our position in the South Downs National Park we have focussed on reducing our impact with a range of sustainable initiatives, removing single use packaging, installing a water bottling plant and investing in energy efficient refrigeration ,lighting and kitchens. We have eliminated gas and are on our way to eliminating tanked oil with a view to investing in renewable energy by 2026. If you are looking for a location for a creative team meeting, away from the interruptions and distractions of the office. We can offer a number of our private dining / meeting rooms, many with doors opening directly onto private gardens.
