About Touching Souls International
Touching Souls International is a 501(C)(3) Non Profit Organization serving the economically disadvantaged for their health, education and safe environment. Since 2001, our cleft-lip project did 36 camps in different parts of Bangladesh, each one providing 15 to 70 free cleft-lip surgeries for the needy. Since 2005, our sight restoration and blindness prevention project provided 936 free cataract surgeries with lens implants for the disadvantaged. Since 2009, our artificial limb project provided artificial limbs to 14 very needy patients, we provided scholarships, since 2003 running a village school for 270 kids. Our charity projects include : Cleft-lip surgery camps that provides free surgeries to those who cannot afford it. Sight Restoration and Blindness Prevention project that provides free cataract surgeries with lens implantation to economically disadvantaged people of Bangladesh. Artificial Limb project that provides artificial limbs to disabled individuals. Palliative Care project to train doctors, nurses and community volunteers in Palliative Care School Funding projects and Scholarships for meritorious students. Arsenic Awareness programs to make people aware of arsenic poisoning. Fellowships for journalists who do the best research work on the environment. Project for elderly, disabled and ill patients and financial support for orphans.
