Our furniture combines an unrivalled build quality, good looks and the design content and flexibility to meet the very varied needs of our customers. Tough Furniture is unique in being the only UK designer and manufacturer who specialises exclusively in this field and has done so for over 20 years, this gives us an unmatched level of evidence-based experience and track record. We at Tough Furniture pioneered the development of key products for this idiosyncratic market by working closely with care professionals to understand and cope with a diverse spectrum of challenging behaviours across all areas. In addition to our standard ranges, we have the expertise and experience required to alter and amend product details to meet the customers’ specific requirements. We also offer a cost effective modular approach which allows long term easy maintenance and the opportunity to alter furniture arrangements/layouts depending on changing circumstances. Over 70% of our business comes from existing customers which is a testament to the quality of our products and the service we offer. We work across a broad range of areas from hospitals to private clients. Establishments we supply include: children's homes, residential and day care provision for all ages with learning difficulties, psychiatric and mental health as well as SEN schools. We manufacture our products in the UK in our purpose built factory in Shropshire. Tough Furniture is accredited to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and has also won several business awards for its work.
