Touro Infirmary is New Orleans' only community based, not-for-profit, faith-based adult acute care hospital. Touro employs more than 1,880 employees and credentials more than 570 physicians in more than 60 medical specialties and subspecialties. Driven by our mission to provide the highest quality and most compassionate healthcare, Touro has provided quality healthcare to the New Orleans community for more than 160 years. Touro is a teaching hospital offering medical student and post graduate medical training. Touro has academic affiliations with Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and Tulane University Health Science Center, offering training programs to hundreds of students, residents and fellows annually in a variety of specialties.
