The Town has 515 year-round residents with a population of over 20,000 during the summer months. Duck is nationally-recognized as one of the "Top 15 Family-Friendly Beaches in America" and was recently named one of the top 10 "Fido-Friendly" Beaches in the U.S. Some of the Town's many amenities include: a town park, amphitheater, gazebo, walking trails, soundside boardwalk, and bicycle/pedestrian trail.
