About Towne Lake Academy

Towne Lake Academy provides quality early childhood education and care to children ages six weeks to twelve years. The schools are open year round, January through December, Monday through Friday (except during holidays), 6:30am until 7:00pm. Our programs include Infant and Toddler care, Preschool, Private Pre-K4, GA Lottery Pre-K4 and before/after care for school age children during the school year and summer camp during the summer months. The programs meet the individual needs of the child and include the use of a nationally recognized curriculum specially designed for young children. We are the only family owned and operated child development center in our community since 1995! We aren't a franchise, a chain or a church based center. We are a community based private preschool. Choosing early education for your child may be the most influential decision you will make for your child! Classrooms are arranged in "learning centers" designed to provide a variety of learning opportunities and encourage hands on, active participation in the learning process. All equipment and materials are age appropriate. Outside play is designed to develop gross motor skills and further enhance social development. Playgrounds are separated based on age groups with each being specifically designed to include age appropriate equipment while maximizing the children's safety. The equipment used is constructed of the highest caliber materials and designed to meet all ADA requirements. USDA guideline meals are provided including morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack and served family style. Extra-curricular activities are offered, such as dance and gymnastics classes. Field trips are also part of the regular routine for pre-kindergarten and school age children. We provide transportation both to and from the local public schools for the school age children and for field trips.
