About TownTalk
TownTalk is THE guide to towns and cities throughout the UK. With many ongoing regeneration projects, town centres are re-establishing themselves as vibrant, exciting places to live, work and socialise. Our role is to help towns re-establish themselves at the heart of the communities they serve, especially local businesses and residents. We work closely with Town Centre Managers, Chambers of Commerce and Town Partnerships. With a network of over 160 sites dedicated to specific towns, TownTalk is in effect a social networking site for local communities. We carry detailed up-to-date information about local businesses and events including: * Restaurant guides * Special Offers * Local Jobs * What’s On * Vacant Property Guide With our gateways, businesses can add and edit their own details and members of the public can submit their own events, news and reviews which we will validate and publish immediately. With over £1.4m invested in the TownTalk network, mainly from the public sector, including the European Regional Development Fund, the London Development Agency, local Councils, Chambers of Commerce and grants, the network is more valued than ever as a way to advertise businesses, products, services and local events.
