About TPI Converters
TPI was founded in 1977. Our quest in the performance torque converter industry is to provide the highest quality and service to the racing and performance community. We custom build our converters one at a time to insure the level of performance and reliability that the racing and performance converter industry demands. We don’t mass produce our product like many large torque converter companies; we feel the custom service that we provide to our customers puts us ahead of our competitors when it comes to building the best converter for any application diesel, street, or strip. We will not sell a performance torque converter that is not the perfect fit for the application just to make a sale. We are a third generation family owned corporation, and we have over thirty years of experience in the converter industry. We do a lot of testing with our local racers; this is what gives us an edge when it comes to details in the adjustment, setup, and repair of any torque converter that we build.
