About TPO, Faculty of Business, Lingnan University

The Faculty of Business of Lingnan University is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the longest serving global accrediting body for business schools, and have set up the Lingnan University Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) to recognise students with outstanding academic achievement. The Faculty offers Taught Postgraduate (TPg) programmes with a focus on professional training to graduates who desire to further their knowledge in the field of business. We place equal emphasis on coursework and application of business theory in real life situation. Besides classroom teaching, students learn through internship, overseas study trips as well as projects with our business partners. The diversified teaching and learning avenues equip our students with the knowledge and skills required for business professionals in the 21st century. The curricula of our taught postgraduate programmes are complemented by a series of professional development activities organised by their host business departments. Activities such as academic seminars, workshops, and company visits help students develop the sorts of attributes that employers are looking for such as presentation skills, up-to-date industry knowledge and global vision of today’s business world. With the opportunity to participate in a number of academic and social events during the year, our students are able to broaden their knowledge and network in the business field that benefit their career.
