About Tradition Brewing Company
In 2014 we started sketching out plans to build the first craft brewery in our hometown of Newport News. From the beginning, the goal was to create a space where people from all walks of life could find commonalities and camaraderie over quality craft beer. And to have a little fun along the way. In 2016 we opened our doors to the public. The support we received from the community was mind-blowing, and left us humbled and excited for the years to come. Today, we sport a 4,000 square foot Taproom with a Mezzanine Loft, complete with a secondary bar and ample seating. The windows overlook our production area, housing two 20bbl fermenters, three 40bbl fermenters, and two brite tanks. We fire up the canning line frequently, packaging 16oz offerings, and bottle a specialty brew once a year. As far as our goal, we work continuously to meet it each and every day. Over the past 5 years, our regulars have become family, our partners our friends. Our beertenders are (semi-unbiasedly) great, and we believe in celebrating and utilizing the talent of our people to the fullest. So, we invite you to come, relax, and share a drink with us.
