About Trail Blazers Education

Trail Blazers is dedicated to improving the well-being and Mental Health of children and young people across South East England. Our specialist Outdoor Learning provision is tailored to suit the needs of learners who need support to re-engage with learning, and education or need Social, Emotional support for their current needs. We strive to make a young person ‘whole’ by supporting them to develop the competencies and abilities to help them become a capable young adult. Our team of Practitioners have collaboratively over 15 years of training and experience in mainstream settings and Special Education settings which include diverse and complex SEMH needs. Between us, we have been Assistant Headteachers, qualified teachers, SENCOs, Designated safeguarding leads, Designated teachers for looked after children and Forest school practitioners. Our specialisms are to support a wide range of SEMH needs. Learners with EHCP's and learners with comorbid diagnosis including looked-after children, and post-adoptive children. We will work with schools and other educators and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver provision that best suits each learner's needs. This will include impact data that we have uniquely devised to measure each learner's Emotional, Mental Health, Social and Learning whilst undertaking our programme. Trail Blazers aims to improve the outcomes of individual children and young people who are vulnerable, at risk or have well-being and/or social, emotional, and behavioural needs. Our program is accessible to all young people and young adults. Together we design a bespoke support program around the individual to ensure success.
