A trailer solution will be available in 2019. Research & Development into other vehicles types is ongoing. How long do the solar modules last? They will not need replacing during the lifetime of the vehicle. How much do the solar modules weigh? Just 2kg per square meter! They will have no impact on the overall vehicle load capacity. What if it’s not sunny? The solar modules work in any natural light and are designed to absorb and generate maximum energy as quickly and efficientlyas possible. How often do you need to clean the solar modules? This depends on the vehicle location: less cleaning in wet conditions, more frequent cleaning in drier, dustier conditions. Can the solar modules be stolen? Once they are fitted, they are not visible from the ground. Also, they cannot be removed without damaging them. Can I buy the kit and install it myself? Yes, you can purchase the complete system with fitting instructions.
