It is about restoring ideal movement in the body. Sure we all can move from one place to another, but because many of us are seated for numerous hours per day, we essentially become programmed by our chair. When we finally get up to move or exercise, our bodies move poorly. Those who stand, or have physical careers, don’t have it any better. Posture plays a crucial role when restoring optimal movement. Other times, an imbalance is created in the body when we only have high-intensity workouts or physical activities like running. Combing both of these lifestyles together can be a recipe for injury or chronic pain. This is where occupational and sports recovery are crucial.
