About Tranmere Rovers in the Community (TRiC)

Tranmere Rovers in the Community (TRIC) is the official charitable arm of Tranmere Rovers Football Club. Rooted in the heart of Birkenhead, our work goes far beyond football. We’re focused on creating real, lasting impact across Wirral and beyond: improving physical and mental wellbeing, raising aspirations, and building stronger, more inclusive communities. Through partnerships with schools, local authorities, funders and families, we deliver high-quality, targeted programmes in education, sport, health and inclusion. Whether it’s offering breakfast clubs and after-school sport, running Kellogg’s Football Camps, mentoring young people at risk of exclusion, supporting families through the cost-of-living crisis, or celebrating older veterans in our Armed Forces work, every programme is designed to be people-first, values-driven, and community-led. In 2022–2023 alone, TRIC generated over £1.9 million in social value. Over £1.5 million of that was in improved mental health, which is a testament to the power of connection, purpose and belonging that runs through our work. We are proud of our role in shaping lives: engaging with those furthest from opportunities, helping young people to thrive, and ensuring that Tranmere Rovers remains a true community club… for everyone.
