Transcend Carbon is a response to the antiquated, colonial approaches of existing carbon markets and redd+. Current carbon market schemes have been the initial step towards a desperately needed solution to regenerate the planet, but those markets need to evolve to be in alignment with reality. Transcend Carbon is that evolution. Benefiting from real time data woven together from several blockchai technologies around soil health, water purity, and the amount of dangerous gases in the atmosphere, the collaborative visualizes biometric readouts of Planet Earth in real time. As a consortium, the Transcend Carbon ecosystem goes beyond net-zero and the myopic goals of current carbon frameworks. The collaborative brings together some of the most ethical and pioneering organizations focused on environmental regeneration, community resilience, and addressing the glaring issues with carbon markets. Starting with carbon, the consortium will begin to elucidate the important relationships between species, the nature services each species provides, and the impact of losing biodiversity and various cornerstone species. Transcend Carbon supports communities with traditional knowledge of restoration and regeneration to guide the rebuilding of biodiversity and humanity’s rebalancing with nature. Transcend Carbon’s ecosystem of organizations focuses on everyday people on the front lines of the climate crisis.
