Transit Trucking was founded in 2022 in Mint Hill, North Carolina. Our aim at founding was simple: get freight where it needs to go, on time, and always with a professionalism we found lacking in box truck logistics. We started with a single truck and have since expanded across the United States by welcoming qualified independent contractors onto the team. After a rigorous pre-hire screening, we vet each team member for performance before awarding them lanes with our shipping partners. Once onboarded, we assist all team members and shipping partners to grow their businesses through collaborative partnerships. Over the years, we have built a cooperative environment that emphasizes transparency, equitable pay, and business ownership for all Transit Truckers. We achieve this through disclosure and support, sharing weekly and monthly earning reports with all of our team members and conducting weekly one-on-one mentorship with every team member to help them set and obtain their professional goals.
