About Transition Extreme Sports
Transition Extreme is in the business of assisting children & young people to make positive life transitions. As a leading Aberdeen-based youth charity and social enterprise, we do this by providing a wide range of innovative sports, creative arts, diversionary, employability, educational and enterprise activities. Operating out of our Extreme Sports Centre, we are now attracting over 100,000 visits per annum, and provide excellent ‘ year round’ sports & leisure facilities including; rock climbing, in-line skating, skateboarding, bmx, a band practice room, martial arts facilities, creative arts zone, cafe/community facilities and meeting spaces. Located in the prime leisure and recreational area of Aberdeen Beach, the Centre is ideally located as an adrenaline-packed facility. It acts as a major tourist attraction for the area, attracting national and international sporting events, providing an ideal setting as the ‘Gateway to the Highlands’. Since opening our doors in 2007, we have striven to give young people opportunities, challenges and experiences that help them as they make transitions into adulthood and will stay with them for a lifetime.
