Over 32 years ago, our founder, Cheryl Schuhmann-Wertheimer, PT, DPT, laid the groundwork to establish a center in the Conejo Valley that would benefit the community across generations and physical abilities. The centerpiece of this clinic is the SwimEx 600T therapy pool. The SwimEx features a hydraulic lift chair, an average temperature of 92-94°F, 4' and 5' depths, a variable current, and 10 stations for a variety of treatments. Our advanced therapies also include functional testing and exercise, the Pilates method using a full complement of Pilates equipment, isokinetic testing and strengthening, use of the BTE (Baltimore Therapeutic Equipment), weight training, core strengthening, manual therapy techniques, and expert techniques for PFD (patellofemoral disorders). Our comprehensive rehabilitation center uses advanced healing techniques available to produce results that will return our patients to an active lifestyle. Our patients are children, students, athletes, working adults, moms, dads, and senior citizens.
