About Transvert Scaffold & Engineering
Founder, Mr James Wan, established Transvert Scaffold & Engineering Pte Ltd in 1985 with the vision to be a scaffold specialist. Transvert provides quality metal scaffold services and its related engineering works to various industries in Singapore. Transvert has grown from strength to strength to become one of the leaders in the scaffolding trade in Singapore, providing total access solutions for her clients. Today, Transvert is being led by the second-generation of corporate leaders. Mr Jonathan Wan took over the reins from Mr James Wan and was appointed Managing Director in 2011, and later handed over the reins in mid 2016. Together with Executive Director, Mr Jeffrey Wan, they provide the strategic and corporate leadership. Jonathan is a strong believer in the “lead by example” principle. Prior to ascending to the role of the Managing Director, Jonathan worked his way up the ranks, starting from a Junior Operations Executive and working along side with our scaffolders. Jonathan dedicated almost a decade of time and passion in learning the scaffold trade and honing his craft. His dedication and in-depth knowledge of the industry has won the respect of not only Transvert’s management and staff but also experienced industry players and the authorities alike. Under Jonathan’s leadership, Transvert went on to become one of the first recipients to achieve OHSAS certification and bizSAFE star status by the WSHC in when the certification became first available in 2008. Today, Jonathan is a well-respected individual in the scaffolding trade. He currently sits on the Executive Committee for the Access & Scaffold Industry Association as the President, a position he assumed in 2009. He has also successfully chaired the first ever Work At Height Conference 2013, an event that was supported by Ministry of Manpower, Workplace Safety and Health Council and Singapore Workforce Development Agency in November 2013.
