Trashy Bags Africa are a social enterprise company upcycling eco-friendly bags from discarded drinking water sachets that litter the streets of Ghana’s cities. We are leading the way in sustainable development in Africa, having collected & upcycled approximately 20million plastic sachets since 2007. Plastic sachets have become a big problem across Africa because of the lack of recycling initiatives and waste management infrastructure.
