Trauma Recovery & Psychotherapy Services is a telehealth-based mental health practice serving adults across New York State. The practice specializes in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and identity-related challenges through evidence-based, trauma-informed care. Founded by a licensed psychotherapist and trauma specialist, the practice is grounded in depth-oriented and culturally responsive approaches. Modalities include EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Experiencing to regulate the nervous system and reduce hyperarousal, along with psychoanalytic and Jungian methods to promote insight, reshape self-perception, and heal early wounds. Areas of clinical focus include complex PTSD, developmental trauma, childhood sexual abuse, personality disorders (including borderline and narcissistic presentations), dissociation, cult-related trauma, and war-related PTSD. Special attention is given to the mental health needs of first-generation individuals, immigrants, and refugees, with an emphasis on intersectional identity work.
