We are an award winning independent star in the Sure Travel group. We are a franchisee of the Sure Travel group, one of the largest travel consortia in the Southern Hemisphere. Business travel is no longer just about getting people from A to B. Today, managing the travel portfolio of a company requires industry specialisation to achieve the best bottom-line results. Our affiliation with Harvey Word Travel, a joint venture between Bidvest (BidTravel) and Stella Group ( based in Australia) holds immense buying power to the benefit of our clients. Harvey World Travel is South Africa’s premier retail travel agency franchise, with over 120 offices. It is the largest sole-branded travel franchise business in the southern hemisphere, representing over 600 offices internationally. We pride ourselves on being one of the first true Black Economic Empowerment travel agencies in South Africa, with 51% of the agency being bought by Western Cape business individuals (see details under ‘Management and shareholder team’ below) in August 2002. We have carried through our commitment to BEE by choosing to support providers with Black Economic Empowerment policies that align with our own.
